Terry Sabo has been entertaining audiences for 40 years. The Beatles came to the US and were the first major influence on Terry.

He listened to many different artists and styles of music to include country, rock and roll. pop and ethnic music.

He came interested in the guitar at a young age but the availability of a guitar teacher was a problem.
At age 14, Terry's brother purchased  his first guitar and he began taking lessons from Danny Kotcher, a student at Indiana University of PA. Danny introduced Terry to classical guitar and the music of Charlie Byrd and Antonio Carlos Jobim. He progressed so quickly that in 16 months, he was playing progressive classical guitar along with many other styles.

His teacher graduated from IUP and Terry was asked to assume the responsibility of teaching his "teacher's students". He taught at the Indiana Music House in Indiana, PA, which is still in business. Terry became in demand to play at social functions, weddings, and high school events.

His first job in a coffeehouse was with Gary Belonzi, another guitarist he came to know from IUP. His love of music convinced him to major in music and he enrolled at Indiana University of PA after graduating from high school. more
